The appearance of the NEP children at the Panhellenic School Championship that took place at the Posidonio swimming pool in Thessaloniki on Friday, April 19, was impressive.
4 out of the 5 NEP children got on the podium, proving once once more the dynamics of the “dolphins” swimming section.
Specifically: Apostolia Skouta (K17- GEL Ekpaidevtirioni Kotroni) was 1st in the 100m. butterfly with a time of 01:01.51 and in fact with her first time she also won her participation in the World High School Games that will take place in October in Bahrain. At the same time, Vasiliki Bouropoulou (K16-8th GEL Patron) was 2nd in the 200m. breaststroke with 02:44.22, Veronika Pefani (K16-Patra Standard High School) was also 2nd in the 100m. backstroke with a time of 01:06.56 and Fotis Chrysanthakopoulos (K16- Experimental High School of the University of Patras) also 2nd in the 400m. MA with 04:46.35.
It should also be noted that the three NEP children who got the silver medals belong to the youngest age category (A’ Lyceum) and they had to compete with older children (2′ and 3′ Lyceum). The presence of the fifth athlete of the “dolphins” who took part in the games, Aristotle Gialernios (K16-GEL Anagennisi) in the 50m, was also very good. free with a time of 26.88.
