The Winter Championship of Southern Greece for Teenagers-Youths and Boys-Girls (K15-K16-K17-K18) which was held at the indoor swimming pool of OAKA during the three days 16-18/2, has been completed.
During the last competition, NEP won a gold and a silver medal, thus reaching a total of 8.
Fanis Kouris (Girls B) took the gold in the 50m. Children’s butterfly with a time of 25.37 and the silver by Apostolia Skouta (Youth B) in the 50m. Junior butterfly with a time of 28.20, while in the same event Tenia Giannakopoulou (Junior) was 6th with a time of 29.01. Also Andronikos Konstantopoulos (Neos Andras) at 50m. Men’s butterfly did 25.89. We also had 5 more medals from the All-Region championship in a 25m pool. which took place last November namely 4 gold and one bronze. The golds were two for Apostolia Skouta (50m butterfly-100m individual medley), one for Fani Kouri (50m butterfly) and one for Marianna Katsantoni (200m breaststroke), while the bronze for Tenia Giannakopoulou (50m . butterfly). In summary, NEP took 8th place in the Boys-Girls Category, being the 1st provincial team ( once morest 59 rated teams) and 13th place in the Adolescent-Youth Category ( once morest 54 rated teams), proving once once more its superiority in its swimming events District.
