Sparks fly from her eyes, and in her voice there is a revolution and anger despite her calmness, which gave her the title of “The Lady of the Arab Screen”, refusing to disclose

The founder of Dar Akhbar Al-Youm about his actions, which tarnished her reputation, and her head was thinking about what she would say to him in their first meeting after writing about a night he spent in her bed.

The story goes back to the sixties of the last century, when Mustafa Amin wrote an article in “Al-Jeel Al-Jadeed” magazine entitled:

“I am writing to you from Faten Hamama’s bed,” during which he talks about suffering from pain that necessitated the intervention of doctors for urgent surgery at Dr. Abdullah Al-Kateb Hospital.

The surgeon chose a room in the hospital that would host Amin before the surgery, and in the middle of it was a bed that was too small to fit the founder of Akhbar Al-Youm, who is known for his huge build.

Amin tells in his book “Personal Issues”, issued by Akhbar Al-Youm, that the doctor told him that the bed was small, and Faten Hamama had been sleeping on it for days, and that she had a successful surgery.

He went on to write: “I lay in a charming bed, and I found it small and delicate, and I was half in the bed and half outside the bed.

It was impossible for me to roll over in bed, for any movement in it would find me on the floor, and I wrote a satirical article describing this bed (Nonu), and made the article title: (I am writing to you from the bed of Faten Hamama).”

Faten Hamama’s eyes fell on the article, and she was sad and shocked, but she decided to overcome her condition and go

To Mustafa Amin’s office, she said to him: “How do you tarnish my reputation? I have preserved my reputation all my life, and no one has harmed it.”

After Amin tried to calm her down, Faten Hamama went on to say, “How can you falsely claim that you slept with me in the same bed?”

The frank accusation, which Faten Hamama adopted, struck Amin like a thunderbolt, so he asked her in astonishment: “Have you read the article?”

So he responded quickly: “No, I read the title.” Here the writer’s face changed and he entered a link of laughter, followed by a sentence that said: “Read the whole article and then resume your revolution.”

The lady of the Arab screen read the article and laughed, but Amin came out with a “wisdom” as he tells in his book, which is not to allow his pen to write articles about Faten Hamama and have her name in the title because he discovered that she only reads him.
