Vienna – Long-time Volkstheater director Emmy Werner (85) will be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 24th Nestroy Awards on November 5th. Thomas Perle (36) received the author prize for his play “karpatenflecken”, which was shown in the Burgtheater vestibule. This was announced alongside 39 nominations on Monday by the Vienna Stage Association. The gala will take place in the Vienna Volkstheater, ORF III will broadcast live with a time delay from 9:05 p.m.
