Netanyahu: trump ‘Greatest Friend Israel Has Ever Had’

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called US President ⁢Donald trump “the greatest friend that ⁤Israel has ⁣ever had in the white House” during an exclusive interview with Fox News that aired on Saturday.

Speaking with host Mark Levin of the ‘Life, ⁣Liberty & Levin’ show, Netanyahu⁤ stated, ⁢”He [Trump] ⁢ is making a tremendous change in the⁣ Israeli-American alliance, strengthening ⁤it beyond anything we’ve seen up to now.” ⁢He further described Trump‌ as “a⁢ grate leader⁣ for ‍America and the world.”

A Solidified Alliance

Netanyahu emphasized the⁢ strong ⁣bond between the two nations, stating,⁤ “Israel has no greater ⁢friend than America, especially under⁣ President Trump’s leadership, and likewise, America has no greater friend ⁤than Israel.” He attributed this ⁤close relationship, in part, to ⁢their shared adversaries, highlighting Trump’s resumption of weapons deliveries to Israel.

“We are fighting a seven-front war against our common enemies,” Netanyahu‌ explained.”I don’t⁢ seek wars, I seek to end wars.”

Trump’s Accomplishments

Netanyahu commended Trump for fulfilling campaign promises in his second term, particularly his stance against antisemitism and the International ‍Criminal Court (ICC).

He said, “In the first two weeks, he did everything that he promised to do. He went against antisemitism, went⁤ against the ICC ‍- this‌ corrupt so-called International Court that targets America. Targets Israel. Targets democracies.”

However, ⁢Netanyahu also suggested that international support⁣ for⁢ a palestinian state ⁤has shifted after a meaningful event on october 7th, saying, “after October 7, no one is going to just say ‘let’s give them a Palestinian state.’‌ They had one,it was called Gaza under Hamas, what happened with that?”

A ‘Peace Through Strength’ Approach

Despite this,Netanyahu maintains that lasting peace ⁢in the Middle‌ East is achievable, but only through “peace through strength.” He lauded Trump’s proposal to relocate Gazans⁣ and take⁣ control of the Gaza Strip, calling it “the first ‍fresh ‍idea‍ in years.”

“I think this is a novel approach, the ⁢right approach, and we should pursue it,” Netanyahu⁣ said.

Netanyahu’s‌ statements reflect the deepening ties ⁢between Israel and⁣ the United States under the Trump administration.‍ The strong alliance and shared security concerns⁤ have shaped a dynamic foreign policy landscape ‌in the Middle⁢ East. ⁢
