The golden days of streaming services are over. The big players in the industry have repeatedly had to increase their prices and reduce their workforce in recent years. Netflix has therefore announced that it is ending shared accounts in the hope that this could attract new customers who create their own accounts. So far, however, the new rules have only come into force in selected countries. A fact that should hurt the platform.
