On the occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas which will take place on Saturday, November 18, the streaming platform Netflix will organize and broadcast live the “Netflix Cup”, a sporting event presented as “unique of its kind” which will bring together Formula 1 drivers and golfers.
On November 14, Netflix will mix the series « Drive to Survive » et « Full Swing » to give birth to the “Netflix Cup” golf tournament (match-play). The event will be hosted at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas.
The casting is quite impressive with Alex Albon (Williams Racing), Pierre Gasly (BWT Alpine F1 Team), Lando Norris (McLaren Racing), Carlos Sainz (Scuderia Ferrari) and golfers Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas. 4 teams will be formed for this “Swing to Survive”.
To announce this event, Netflix obviously produced a very impactful trailer.
This “Netflix Cup” will thus be the first sporting event broadcast live on the famous streaming platform.
