NetJets is expanding its global headquarters in central Ohio by 365,000 square feet, a project expected to add roughly 800 jobs to the private jet company’s already existing 2,400 positions in Columbus. The massive campus expansion at 4111 Bridgeway Ave will split the hundreds of thousands of square feet between two new buildings, housing both expanded office space and a dedicated training center for employees.
Expanding Infrastructure to Meet Private Aviation Demand
The construction project brings significant upgrades beyond workspace. Plans feature a new parking garage along with expanded dining and event facilities to support the growing workforce. NetJets stated that the endeavor aims to better meet the rising demand and evolving expectations of its aircraft owners while accommodating future growth and maintaining its position as an industry leader in private aviation.
This operational scale-up follows a steady trajectory for the company in central Ohio. In 2018, NetJets hosted a fleet week event to introduce workers directly to its fleet of private aircraft, underscoring its long-standing corporate footprint in the region.
Regulatory Approvals and Projected Completion
Barring unforeseen hurdles in the legal and regulatory approval processes, construction on the Bridgeway Avenue campus is slated to wrap up in early 2029. The company acknowledged that the complex initiative relies heavily on multi-layered public support. NetJets credited the city of Columbus, the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, JobsOhio, and the Federal Aviation Administration for making the development possible.

As the expansion moves toward its 2029 completion timeline, leadership emphasizes that maintaining safety and service standards remains the primary focus. The company intends to maintain its partnership with Columbus for decades to come as the new training infrastructure comes online.
