Neuchâtel police are now affirming on Twitter that there is no longer any danger linked to the situation in Le Locle, in the district of Jaluse. She first shared on the social network that a police operation was underway and asked the population to comply with the orders of the gendarmes.
The regional daily «Arc Info» specifies that many Neuchâtel police patrols had been seen rushing, sirens blaring, in the direction of the Mère-Commune, around 6 p.m.
