Regarding the new coronavirus, it was announced on the 4th that 255 new infections and 1 patient died in Miyazaki prefecture.
Newly confirmed infections in the prefecture are 255 men and women between the ages of 10 and 90s.
By place of residence, there are 94 people in Miyazaki City, 51 people in Miyakonojo City, and 40 people in Nobeoka City.
Three new clusters have been confirmed, including education and childcare facilities in Nobeoka City, and facilities for the elderly and education and childcare facilities in Miyakonojo City.
The prefecture also announced that one patient in his 80s with an underlying illness has died. With this, 55 people died in the 6th wave.
