In the midst of the Salzburg Festival, at which the conductor Teodor Currentzis was celebrated, the astonished public received the news that he would be founding a new orchestra called Utopia. Pathetically, the notoriously taciturn man announced in a broadcast that he wanted to embark on a “search for the true spirit of the musical work” with like-minded people.
