New Delhi: The round-the-clock strike demanding action against the president of the wrestling federation in sexual complaints has entered the third day. The wrestlers intensified their day and night strike at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar seeking the support of political parties.
The strike is demanding police action on the sexual complaints made against wrestling federation president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan. Congress leader Bhupinder Hooda will reach Samara Pandal today. There are reports that Rahul Gandhi may also come to the rally. The National Women’s Federation will submit a petition to the Delhi Police Commissioner.
The stars had apologized for sending back those who had supported the strike in January. Yesterday Sai Deputy Director General Shiv Sharma reached Jantar Mantar and held a discussion with the stars.
