Vienna – State security gets a new deputy chief. According to reports, this is Sylvia Mayer, who already worked in various positions in the predecessor organization of the DSN, the BVT. She was one of nine people who had applied for the position of deputy head of the State Security Intelligence Services Directorate. Five were admitted to the actual selection process. The appointment is made by the Federal President.
