Gothic 1 Remake is a complete update of the iconic game that originally came out in 2001. The German company Piranha Bytes was responsible for the original, and THQ Nordic Barcelona is developing the new version.
For the brand, the publisher specifically created a studio that was tasked with resurrecting the legend.
The developers are slowly talking about the game – in August they showed the first trailer, and now there is an opportunity to look at a new shot from Valley of Mines.
THQ Nordic Barcelona has confirmed the good news – composer Kai Rosenkrantz has been commissioned to compose the soundtrack for Gothic 1 Remake. The German composer has worked on music for Gothic (2001), Gothic II (2002), Gothic II Night of the Raven (2003), Gothic 3 (2006) and Risen (2009).
After the release of Risen, Kai Rosenkran left Piranha Bytes and started his own company. But now it’s safe to say that the composer is working on Gothic 1 Remake.
