New generations with little interest in continuing with traditional indigenous medicine

Chetumal, Q. Roo.- Traditional indigenous medicine is becoming extinct, Vicente Canté is the third generation dedicated to the use of plants and their pharmacological and therapeutic potential, but the new generations have little interest in preserving this practice and knowledge, there are even those who fear for the consumption of the plants, while others claim to have positive results.

Traditional medicine continues to be an option, in some towns the only one to cure illnesses; however, the new generations have shown zero interest in learning and continuing this tradition.
