The retirement home in Schwarzach was ceremoniously handed over at the weekend with an open day. Almost 16 million euros were invested in the new building in the last two years, says Mayor Andreas Haitzer (SPÖ). In the old home, appropriate care was only possible with extreme effort. The new house offers space for 48 residents in a shared apartment model. The commercial kitchen guarantees lunch for the residential complex, meals on wheels, child care and school day care.
