The forensic investigator in the German Public Prosecution, Rana Iskandar, revealed that the arrest warrant issued in Germany against the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, was taken yesterday afternoon, Monday, German time, explaining that work is ongoing on the warrant with the Public Prosecution.
In an interview with Al-Jadeed TV, today, Tuesday, Iskandar confirmed that the German judiciary does not move any case or arrest warrant without evidence, revealing that 5 properties have been seized for safety in several German cities, including Hamburg, and she added: “Also, the German judiciary seized a real estate company that Salameh shares with other people.”
Iskandar explained that there are 5 people against whom the arrest warrant was issued and Salama, among them, explaining that these people are also Lebanese.
