Internal medicine specialists University of Manizales
Manizales, Tuesday August 10, 2023. The University of Manizales will have, as of the first semester of 2024, a new medical specialization in Internal Medicine with a duration of three years, 192 credits and will be offered face-to-face.
The Program is attached to the Faculty of Health Sciences. The call for applicants is open from Tuesday, August 8, 2023 to Friday, November 3, and its first cohort will have four places. “This is an area that is highly accepted by doctors and we hope that the community receives it in the best way so that both our graduates and doctors in general see this as an excellent option to specialize,” said Sandra Patricia. González Peña, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Manizales.
The requirements to enroll in this specialization are:
Fill out the registration form and make the payment corresponding to one (1) current legal monthly minimum wage. Identification document. Only the Colombian citizenship card or the foreigner’s card will be accepted, the original of either of these two documents must be presented in the written test; clinical correlation test; clinical simulation test and interview. In case of not presenting said document, the presentation of the mentioned tests will not be allowed. Medical title. Accredit by degree certificate the medical degree validated by the university that grants the degree. For a degree granted by a foreign university, it must have the validation of the Ministry of National Education. In the event that the applicant is studying his last year of medicine, he must present a certificate issued by the rector of the campus, stating the date of completion of studies and the letter from the corresponding health section, of exemption from mandatory social service. Deliver the resume according to the parameters for its evaluation in case of being summoned to the next phase. All physical supports must be delivered, since the analysis of the resume will be done on these without the possibility of claims for certifications after the date, this step is carried out for the clinical simulation exam.
