New Leadership and Exciting Additions: Fallbach FC’s Latest Changes and Signings

There is a small change in Fallbach not only at the player level, but also at the official level: Daniel Kober takes over the position of youth leader, Martin Steingassner is the new section leader. Both also play in the fighting team, Steingassner came to his position because his predecessor Leopold Zechmeister stepped down for family reasons and is now deputy.

“I did it on an interim basis in the first half of the year, and Leo asked me if I wanted to help. At the last meeting it was decided that I would take over,” said Steingassner, who had to play on the field instead of his trained position in goal due to a thumb injury in the fall. What goals does the new section leader have? “We want to continue on this path so that we integrate many young people. The foreigners and legionnaires we bring in should not only have quality, but also fit in in terms of character,” said Steingassner.

The new official has already made the first four additions, and the new USC Legionnaires are particularly exciting. Dusan Klvana is well known in the Weinviertel, the Czech striker scored 114 goals in 120 competitive games in Austria and played for Rabensburg in the autumn, where he was given up despite scoring ten goals. The second offensive man is the Slovakian Marek Pavlovic, who played for Paasdorf in autumn 2021 and then for SKV St. Oswald. The Slovakian scored five goals this season for the eleventh-placed team in the 2nd class, Yspertal/Alpenvorland. “He can play pretty much anything up front and is also a very good guy,” said Steingassner.

Two players also come from the dissolved SG Altruppersdorf/Kleinhadersdorf: reserve kicker Werner Degn and Jürgen Bernold, who shuttled between the first and second teams in the fall and was even in goal for the “first” team against Kreuttal. According to Steingassner, not much more should happen at USC.
