Manama: The 11th hypermarket of the leading shopping chain Lulu Hyper Group in Bahrain has opened in Manama Center. Lulu Group Chairman and Managing Director MA Yousufali said that two new hypermarkets will soon be opened in Bahrain.
The Lulu Group’s 261st hypermarket globally opened in central Manama near the Sacred Heart Church. Bahrain Waqf Council Chairman Sheikh Rashid Muhammad Salim Al Hajiri inaugurated the event in the presence of Lulu Group Chairman and Managing Director MA Yousufali. Ministry of Industry and Commerce Undersecretary Iman Ahmed Al-Doseri, Indian Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob, Lulu Bahrain Director Juicer Rupawala, diplomats, industry leaders and others were present.
Conveniently located in the heart of the residential and commercial area of the capital city, the hypermarket spread across an area of 55,000 sq.ft is equipped with extensive facilities for a better shopping experience. Within six months, Lulu will invest 200 million dinars in Bahrain and will soon open two new hypermarkets in Bahrain Avenues and Diyar Al Muharraq, Lulu Group Chairman MA Yousufali said.
Lulu Group Chairman expressed his gratitude to King Hamad and the Crown Prince for all their support and cooperation for the growth of Lulu Group in Bahrain as a strong retail chain. He also thanked the Bahrain Waqf Council for providing all the facilities and support to start the hypermarket at Manama Center.
