New major decline in European stock markets

European stock markets ended in sharp decline on Monday, weighed down by threats to the global economy, including confinements in China, the war in Ukraine and inflation.

The Paris Stock Exchange lost 2.75% to 6,086.02 points, Frankfurt lost 2.15%, London 2.32%, Milan 2.74% and the European benchmark index, the Eurostoxx 50 2.82 %. On Friday, European markets had already lost around 1.5%.
