His Excellency Awad Sagheer Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, today in Dubai Investments Park, inaugurated a new hospital for the “NMC” health care group, with a capacity of 51 beds, to constitute a qualitative addition to the specialized services provided by the emirate to its needy patients.
The new hospital – which consists of four floors and covers an area of 125,000 square feet – will be an extension of the “NMC Royal” hospital, which was launched in 2014 with a capacity of 67 beds.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Omar Al Mesmar, Director General of Dubai Investments Park, Mr. David Hadley, CEO of NMC Healthcare Group, and a number of doctors and officials of the group.
Awad Al-Ketbi reviewed the specialized services provided by the hospital in the fields of orthopedics, pediatrics, plastic surgery, pulmonary diseases, urology, internal medicine, nephrology and critical care medicine, praising all the efforts that stand behind the achievement of this medical edifice.
He stressed the great interest that the Dubai Health Authority attaches to supporting and strengthening the efforts of the private sector and enabling it to invest in investment opportunities in the emirate to be a strategic partner for the authority in providing and diversifying treatment and hospitalization options for its applicants from members of the local community in accordance with international best practices and protocols, in a way that contributes to supporting the health tourism strategy adopted by the emirate. .
For his part, Dr. Omar Al Mesmar said: “Our goal at Dubai Investments Park has always been to provide an environment conducive to growth, innovation and well-being, which is embodied in the opening of NMC Royal Hospital in Dubai Investments Park. It is also a testament to our deep commitment to facilitate and enhance the quality of life and health care for residents and visitors in complex and its adjoining areas.
In turn, David Hadley stated that the new hospital, which provides more than 250 job opportunities, provides distinguished services to its patients in accordance with the highest international quality standards, referring to the various areas covered by the hospital’s services, including the “Jebel Ali Industrial Area”, “The Gardens”, “Discovery Gardens” and Expo City, Al Furjan, Remraam, Jumeirah Circle, GTV, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Marina and Al Barsha.
