A new resolution from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment was published in the Official Gazette of Cuba (https://www.gacetaoficial.gob.cu). We are talking about the authorization to register seven companies in the National Registry of Foreign Commercial Representations.
In this sense, these companies were granted the possibility of marketing their products and services in Cuba.
The first of them is the company JMPL & SAN PORTUGAL, SA. It is a public limited company registered in Portugal, and specialized in the wholesale trade of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels. Here, the particularity of these fuels is that they are not derived from petroleum.
Meanwhile, food products, charcoal, wood, its derivatives, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are the products that it would market in Cuba. In addition, machinery, equipment, tools and industrial supplies are added to this list.
Another company is O’Brien Holdings Ltd., an active investment holding company with its registered office located in the United Kingdom.
Your license in Cuba will allow you to market light and heavy vehicles and their parts in the transportation, construction and industry sectors in general. Although it may also market tires, batteries, products from the chemical industry and paper; among other pieces and machinery.
It is followed by the Technology and Innovation company for Construction and Decoration, SA. This is a company that will have permission in Cuba for the installation, maintenance and repair of optical, mineral or acrylic fibers, electrical appliances and components. This also includes machinery for food production; as well as spare parts for equipment and machinery.
DAMEX Germany GmbH is a small German company in the core repair and installation sector, which also operates in the wholesale trade.
In Cuba you will be able to market equipment and machinery, as well as its parts and pieces, for the electric power generation industry sectors. It will also be active in the oil, mining, food industry, pharmaceutical and shipping sectors.

Dimanka is a Mexican company that is dedicated to foreign trade, both imports and exports. Its permit granted for operation in Cuba includes the marketing of food products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, machinery, equipment, tools and industrial supplies.
On the other hand, the company Desechos Textiles del Caribe, SRL (Detexca) is a company registered in the Dominican Republic, with headquarters in Santo Domingo.
