New signing Kühn scores: Rapid wins a high-scoring test against Lafnitz

SK Rapid won its test match on Wednesday against second division team SV Lafnitz 5-2.

In the sweltering heat of the training camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf, new signing Nicolas Kühn took the lead (29′) on assist from returnee Guido Burgstaller, shortly afterwards Kühn scored to make it 2-0 through Marco Grüll (38′).

Rapid coach Ferdinand Feldhofer replaced all ten field players except for goalkeeper Gartler. After the break, Lafnitz was initially able to shorten the lead (49′) before Bernhard Zimmermann put the ball into the empty goal on Niklas Binder’s pass to make it 3-1 (74′).

Five minutes later, Lafnitz reduced the lead again (79′), but Rapid made it 4-2 again (88′) through Zimmermann after a dream pass from Knasmüllner. Dragoljub Savic provided the final point after a nice solo with a well-placed shot into the right corner of the cross to make it 5:2 (90th).
