New Spanish Dictionary Words: The Latest Additions from the Royal Spanish Academy

The Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) was founded in Madrid with the objective of “watching over the changes that the Spanish language experiences in its constant adaptation,” according to its official website. The new words in the dictionary

The RAE announced its new edition with a statement on its official website: “The Royal Spanish Academy and the Association of Language Academies have already undertaken the writing tasks of the new edition of their dictionary of the Spanish language. With the objective that development does not delay the inclusion of new words or modification of those already incorporated”.
