Khaled Abdel Rahman, Naira Ashraf’s lawyer, confirmed in a statement to “Al Arabiya.net” that this came after the two nurses and the young man, who were sentenced to 6 months in prison and a fine of 50,000 pounds each, paid the value of the financial guarantee set by the court at 20,000 pounds for the ruling of their imprisonment to stop them. After the defendants paid the bail and the fine, the court decided to set August 20 to consider the defendants’ appeal in the case.

It is noteworthy that the First Criminal Chamber of the Mansoura Economic Court in Dakahlia Governorate, sentenced two nurses and a young man to six months in prison and another acquittal, and a fine of 50 thousand pounds each, in the case of photographing the body of the student Naira Ashraf in Mansoura Specialized Hospital and leaking it through social media, and the court issued another financial guarantee. The defendants, who were convicted in the case, have to pay LE20,000 to stop the execution of the sentence and appeal it, which happened by paying the bail and releasing them.
It is noteworthy that, last Thursday, the South Mansoura Prosecution referred 3 nurses and another person to the Criminal Court, accusing them of filming Naira Ashraf’s body inside the morgue, and publishing the clip on social media.

Naira Ashraf’s lawyer submitted an urgent communication to the prosecution against the Mansoura Emergency Hospital, to which the body was transferred after the incident, to arrest the accused, who were tried on Sunday.
