Yokohama launches the new 907W “extreme traction” traction tire for winter conditions.

It replaces SY7667 and bears the three-pointed mountain snowflake symbol, indicating that it meets or exceeds the performance criteria for severe snow conditions. It is offered in sizes 295/75R22.5, 11R22.5 and 11R24.5.

“The new 907W offers significantly longer tread life and better performance in snow,” assures Tom Clauer, senior director of commercial product planning at Yokohama. “With a deeper tread and a tough new compound, fleets can expect to get reliable traction and powerful braking in snow for multiple winters.”

Features include: 27/32nd inch tread depth for longer lasting performance and a new compound that resists rubbing, cutting and chipping; ribs for improved traction in snow with 3D sipes that ensure firm contact with the ground in snowy and icy conditions and a zigzag groove pattern to provide efficient water evacuation.

It comes with a seven-year unlimited warranty on the retread casing.
