We actually know all about it: the causes of the climate crisis have been known for decades, as have the possible consequences of global warming. Nevertheless, even experts were surprised at how severe the effects are already today: forests are burning all over the world, crops wither in the fields, deadly heat waves make cities almost uninhabitable, storms devastate entire regions, and diseases are spreading to people more and more often. What sounds like a listing of biblical plagues is a reality in 2022.
