Dubai – Dubai Municipality authorities have announced that garbage has been removed from New Year celebration centers in Dubai in record time. The municipality team completed the field cleaning work before 6 am using more than 114 equipment.

The cleaning work was carried out by the municipality’s cleaning team consisting of 2241 workers, 166 supervisors and 189 volunteers in coordination with private sector companies. As part of its efforts to preserve the emirate’s cultural and aesthetic appearance, the municipality has also cleared debris from fireworks and New Year’s shows, as well as completing public clean-up operations.

In addition to 32 observers, a team of 84 employees and supervisors was deployed at the Burj Khalifa celebration site to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and food safety standards. Events accompanying the celebrations at 43 locations were also monitored by various teams. Twenty-three thousand people gathered to welcome the New Year at the Dubai Frame celebration site of Dubai Municipality alone.
