The New York stock market continued its strength by digesting the quarterly earnings of companies.

At the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on the 19th, Eastern Time, the Dow Jones 30 Industrial Average finished trading at 35,061.21, up 109.28 points and 0.31% from the battlefield.

The S&P 500 index, which is centered on large cap stocks, closed at 4,565.72, up 10.74 points or 0.24% from the battlefield, and the Nasdaq index, which is focused on technology stocks, closed at 14,358.02, up 4.38 points or 0.03% from the battlefield.

The Dow rose for eight consecutive trading days, the longest run since September 2019.

The three major indices reached new highs since April last year.
