‘New Zealand Cricket Board doesn’t want players over a certain age’; Mitchell McClenaghan

Senior pacer Mitchell McClanagan has criticized the New Zealand Cricket Board. McClanaghan accused the New Zealand Cricket Board of not wanting players once they reach a certain age. Players feel safe only if they are given long-term consideration. McClanaghan, 36, has played 77 international matches. The actor last participated in an international competition in 2018.

McClanagan says players get long-term contracts in the rugby team. So they are safe. Colin de Grandhomme retired from cricket yesterday after getting another job.
