Newcastle congratulates gays: We will not tolerate “hate and discrimination” against them

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi-owned English club Newcastle United congratulated gays on “Pride Month”, Wednesday, stressing that it will not tolerate any discrimination once morest them.

The club wrote on its official Twitter page: “Newcastle United is proud to support the Month of Pride 2022 with wishes Happy Pride Month to everyone in the LGBT community and to everyone who celebrates it.”

And Newcastle added in another tweet: “If you detect any discriminatory behavior in any Newcastle match at St James’ Park, text the word ‘help’ in addition to your details to 60070,” he said.

The club concluded by saying: “We will not tolerate any form of hatred or discrimination… We stand united,” as the club put it.

It is noteworthy that the Public Investment Fund in Saudi Arabia acquired the club last October, and succeeded in saving the club from relegation and even led it to achieve remarkable achievements in the second part of the season under the leadership of English coach Eddie Howe.
