Infectious diseases consultant, Dr. Ali Al-Shehri, explained that there is a great similarity between infection with the “Omicron” mutation and infection with influenza and colds.
Al-Shehri said, in an intervention with the “National News” program on the “Al-Ikhbaria” channel, that those who have respiratory symptoms must quickly conduct a “Corona” examination while self-quarantining from contact with others.
He noted that the majority of cases infected with the mutated mutated are people who did not receive adequate doses, pointing to the importance of taking booster doses of the vaccine so as not to increase the rates of infection spread.
