Today (Tuesday), the statistics of the Ministry of Health showed a decrease in new infections with the “Corona” virus, a decrease in critical cases and an increase in deaths, as well as a decrease in the number of people recovered.
The statistics indicated that 667 cases of infection were recorded during the past 24 hours, a decrease of 19 cases compared to yesterday, bringing the total cases to 768,079 cases of the virus.
On the other hand, the death cases witnessed an increase, with 3 new deaths recorded, bringing the total deaths as a result of the virus in the Kingdom to 9148 cases. Thus, deaths remain at their low rates recorded since the beginning of October 2021.
The data indicated a decrease in the critical cases curve for the first time in 4 days; As 3 new cases left the intensive care unit, bringing the total critical cases down to 80.
And it indicated that the cases of recovery from the virus witnessed a relative decrease from yesterday, when 518 cases were recorded, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 752,316 cases.
