The General Directorate of Traffic clarified the fact that the dropping of neglected and damaged vehicles included in the records dropping the violations that are found on those vehicles as well.
Traffic indicated that the exemption is only from fees and delay fines, and does not include dropping the violations that were monitored on the vehicle.
He pointed out that the vehicle can be dropped from the records by handing it over to an approved repair center or a press, and then reviewing the nearest traffic licensing department to deliver the plates and driving licence.
