The Ministry of Health recorded an increase in the number of visitors to the ministry’s facilities and other government sectors for the year 2021 AD, compared to 2020 AD, by an estimated rate of 20.8%.
The number of visitors to the ministry’s facilities increased from 51.2 million in 2020 to 61.9 million during the past year, according to official data issued by the Ministry of Health, while more than 21.5 million visitors visited health facilities in other government agencies in 2021 compared to 17.8 million visitors in 2020.
The number of auditors in health facilities affiliated with the private sector reached 63.1 million in 2021, compared to 48.1 million in 2020, while the Ministry attributed the reason for this increase to reducing precautionary measures against the Corona pandemic.
