News 24 | Health corrects some misinformation about sleep

by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

The Ministry of Health has corrected some of the misinformation circulating regarding sleep, including the fact that coffee causes sleeplessness.

And the ministry indicated that coffee may not cause sleeplessness, but it affects the quality of sleep, and that naps are not harmful, but rather healthy, provided that they do not exceed 20-30 minutes.

She pointed out that it is not possible to determine the number of sufficient hours of sleep because each age has different hours of sleep, indicating that sleep affects the body, specifically weight, heart health, mood, concentration, immunity and energy.
