The Ministry of Health highlighted the most vulnerable parts of the body to sports injuries in stadiums, and the most important measures that must be adhered to in order to reduce these injuries.
The Ministry stated that the parts most vulnerable to sports injuries include the connective tissues (tendons and ligaments), the knee, muscles, ankle, bones and joints.
She indicated that the measures necessary to reduce these injuries include choosing appropriate sports equipment and tools, warming up before exercise, gradually increasing the number and duration of exercise, not overstressing the body, and ensuring healthy food and fluids.
