Today (Friday), the Ministry of Health warned of the steps to be taken when using the “self-examination” device for the new Corona virus at home.
And she stressed the sterilization of hands well before opening the bottle for the examination, taking care to open this bottle carefully, and then emptying the liquid inside the tube, so that the liquid is at the filling line and above.
She added that the next steps consist in placing the tube in the tube holder and then opening the swab cover without touching the soft tip, followed by wiping the nostrils with the same swab by inserting 2 cm inside the nose as much as possible and then slowly rotating 5 times.
She noted the necessity of inserting the swab inside the tube and rotating it 5 times, then squeezing it against the walls of the tube, breaking the outer end at the dividing line, and then closing the tube, making sure that there are no bubbles inside it.
She added that the self-examination device should be placed on a flat surface, then put 5 drops of the tube on the device, then wait for 15 minutes, and then read the results.
