Today (Sunday), the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, reviewed the developments in confronting the novel coronavirus pandemic in the Kingdom.
He explained, during the press conference on Corona developments, that the Kingdom is currently witnessing a fluctuation in the pace of the acceleration of injuries, which bodes that it may be followed by an improvement in general in the epidemiological curve.
He attributed the great difference between the number of injuries and critical cases sleeping in hospitals to obtaining vaccine doses, noting that the Kingdom is currently in a stage entitled “Our immunity is life”, in reference to the immunity obtained by society as a result of vaccination with the Corona vaccine.
With regard to doses of the Corona vaccine, Al-Abdali stressed that the urge to take any doses of the Corona vaccine will only be made following ensuring its safety and the presence of recommendations from trusted bodies and committees in the Kingdom, explaining that the stimulant dose is available for age groups from 16 years and over during the current stage.
