The ministry indicated that the bad mood and its volatility in Shawwal have two reasons. The first is irregular sleep, indicating that according to a study, people who sleep less than 5 hours are dominated by negative emotions.
She added that the second reason for bad mood at this time is related to poor nutrition, noting that missing one meal leads to a drop in sugar, which leads to weakness and fatigue.
She called for making sure to take adequate sleep, while eating a balanced diet for stable mental health, and higher prevention of mood swings.
