King Saud Medical City revealed how to distinguish between cold symptoms and allergies so that appropriate treatment can be obtained.
The city explained that the symptoms of a cold include sore throat, cough, nasal congestion and obstruction, low fever, sneezing, mild headache, feeling some slight pain and nasal secretions.
She noted that allergy symptoms include sneezing, itching of the nose and eyes, allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, redness and runny nose, watery eyes, swelling in the eyes, nose or mouth, redness, cracking and dryness of the skin.
