The Ministry of Health reviewed some of the stories of people who donated their organs or part of them to a number of patients, as part of the organ donation program.
In a video clip entitled “One Home, One Body”, the Ministry mentioned the names of a number of donors who donated their organs to others, which contributed to their recovery and recovery.
The video included scenes showing a number of donors and the donor to them, where the beneficiary of corneal transplant Munira bint Sultan stated: “I am from a field and my eyes are from a boy,” while the beneficiary Abdul Rahman bin Ayman said: “I am from Tanuma and my heart is an expert.” Salem indicated that it is from Qurayyat and its liver is from Shaqra.” Thamer bin Faisal said: “I am from Hofuf and my heart is from Yanbu.”
The clip referred to the names of a number of donors, including Ahmed bin Hassan, who donated the cornea of the eye, Noura bint Saud who donated part of his liver, and the late Sultan bin Muhammad, who was brain dead, who donated his heart, along with Abdullah bin Ahmed who donated his blood.
The ministry indicated that the Kingdom has so far registered more than 495.2 thousand organ donors, more than 377.2 thousand blood donors last year, and about 347.6 thousand beneficiaries.
