The participating consultant for public health, obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Salwa Bahkali, warned of some diseases that may lead to infertility and pelvic pain.
She explained, during her meeting on the “Madam” program on “Rotana Khaleejia” channel, that there are diseases such as chlamydia and gonorrhea, which may lead to blockage of the female reproductive system tubes, and cause infertility, noting that these diseases may also cause pain in the pelvic area.
She added that chlamydia can enter the reproductive system of women without a full sexual relationship, as it can spread inside it at first without feeling any symptoms, noting that following a period of time some symptoms begin to appear in the form of pain during urination or aches in the lower back or during intercourse.
