King Saud Medical City explained the benefits and importance of zinc for the health of the body, and what foods are rich in it to obtain it in a natural way.
The city indicated that zinc helps make new cells and enzymes, plays a role in enhancing immunity and body health, contributes to the growth process in children and adolescents, and helps in wound healing.
She added that oysters, red meat, beans and cashews are among its most important natural sources, as these foods are rich in it, warning that eating them in excess may cause headaches, diarrhea, vomiting or loss of appetite.
