Sources revealed that Al Ittihad club wanted to borrow Honduran striker Albert Ellis Martinez, a player from Bordeaux, France.
The sources indicated that Martinez has an extended contract with Bordeaux for the next 3 years, and the federation wants to include the player for one season on loan.
The federation is armed with a request to borrow the player to persuade Bordeaux to abandon his services in light of the desire of a number of clubs to contract with Martinez, such as Porto of Portugal and Leeds of England.
