King Saud Medical City reviewed several tips on how to take care of a patient with diabetes for the health of his mouth and teeth.
The city advised the diabetic to control and control the level of sugar in the blood as much as possible, and to use dental floss at least once a day, in addition to visiting the dental clinic every 6 months for examination and to ensure the safety of the mouth from decay and lime deposits.
She stressed the importance of brushing the teeth with a soft brush and fluoride-backed toothpaste at least twice a day, and a joint consultation between the treating physician and the dentist during any oral surgical procedure.
