Relatives of the late Wafaa al-Ghamdi, who was killed by her husband a week ago, spoke of; For the first time, they reported that her husband beat her on the morning of her murder, before she went to school, so she filed a complaint against him at the police station.
Relatives of the deceased added to “News 24After her work ended and she returned to her home, her husband received a letter of summons from the police following the report submitted by her against him, which infuriated him, so he immediately brought her into the kitchen, closed the door, and stabbed her twice.
They indicated that the first stab hit the kidneys, and the second hit her leg, noting that her sons were in their schools, and that her son-in-law had seen her and carried her directly, trying to take her to the hospital for first aid, but attempts to revive her there failed and she died instantly.
The people of the victim explained that the beatings and disputes continued throughout the period of their daughter’s marriage to the perpetrator, but this was the first time that she submitted a report to the police station and it ended with her murder by her husband.
They stated that the perpetrator remained in the house until the security authorities arrived and started the incident, and he was in a bad psychological situation at the time, and the sons of the victim are currently staying with their relatives until they are transferred to another place.
It is reported that all members of the perpetrator’s family attended the funeral and mourning days, while the case file remained with the Public Prosecution to follow up the investigations.
