News 24 | The Kingdom cancels health procedures for the Corona vaccine and age requirements for Turkish pilgrims

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced the cancellation of the health procedures for the Corona (Covid-19) vaccine for all pilgrims coming from Turkey, and excluding them from any age-related requirements.

This came during a joint press conference held by Minister Al-Rabeeah with the Turkish President of Religious Affairs, Dr. Ali Erbash, in the presence of a number of officials of the two countries.

Al-Rabeeah affirmed that the Kingdom, government and people, welcomed all pilgrims without limit to the number of arrivals, while making it possible to perform Umrah for those who have all types of visas from all countries of the world, within the framework of the continuous support and attention provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to serve Islam and Muslims, and to facilitate their arrival to perform their rituals easily and smoothly. In order to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

He referred to the rapid developments witnessed by the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites in terms of infrastructure and organization. To prepare to receive the expected increases in the number of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors, and to provide the best facilities and the finest services to the guests of the Sacred House of God, allowing the largest number of Muslims from all over the world to perform Umrah in the easiest way and at the lowest cost.

The Minister of Hajj and Umrah touched on the “Nesk” platform, which allows obtaining Umrah and visit visas around the clock, and booking all services (transportation and housing) and other services instantly through smart devices.
