The late artist is considered one of the distinguished voices with a unique performance. He was famous for performing folk and Gulf songs, and he was very popular in the Kingdom and the Arab world.
The daughter of the late artist, Etidal Bashir Shanan, expressed in her interview with “News 24She expressed her happiness on this night in which the memory of her late father is commemorated, indicating that she is very proud of what happened that night, in terms of honoring her father’s name and reviving his past songs.
She added that she was unable to describe her feeling of this honor after a long journey of art and people’s love for her father, thanking all those responsible for the success of this night, led by the head of the Entertainment Authority, Turki Al Sheikh.
